Chapter 76

Claire’s POV

When Luke and I arrived at his house, I acted like he never existed. I did my own thing, and went directly to the bed to sleep. I left Luke in the living room, I don’t know what his plan is for tonight. I wanted to sleep so bad, but every time I closed my eyes the picture of him at the bar flashed in my mind.

I waited for Luke to come inside the room, but I guess he had no plans at all. I cried hard while trying to sleep, I endured not to check on him in the living room because I know that he must’ve passed out on the sofa in so much drunkenness.

I didn’t realize I fell asleep crying last night, my pillow was the only witness of the pain I felt while trying to sleep without Luke beside me.

I put myself together and stood up to make myself some coffee in the kitchen, I passed by the living room and found Luke still asleep with his clothes from last night.
