Claire’s POV

I went home that night super annoyed at Luke. Now that he was working in our company, I knew I’d definitely see him more often, and I knew it was going to be messy. I called Arlo to ask him if he could grab some dinner with me, but it was too bad he had a scheduled dinner with someone. I asked who it was, but he just laughed. I was so curious, wondering if my best friend was dating someone again and wasn’t telling me. I had no choice but to grab dinner alone, again.
