Luke’s POV

“Is she in Italy?” I asked without beating around the bush.

Caleb was silent for a minute.

“Tell me honestly,” I said.

“Where do you get that information?” Caleb asked me.

“Is it a yes or no?” I asked him.

“Luke, just sleep,” he said.

“Please, Caleb,” I pleaded.

I heard a sigh on the other line, “Okay, fine. She is in Italy. But I won’t tell you any more details, if you want to find her then go. That’s all I can say, she is in Italy,” he said as if he is tired of me being so persistent.

“Okay, thanks for the confirmation, Caleb. I won’t tell Claire about this conversation,” I smiled to myself.

Finally, I know where she is. Too bad she is going to see me again; she is going to fall in love again; I will make sure of that. I quickly typed a message to my secretary telling her that I would be on indefinite leave for a while and let Caleb handle some of my work.
