Luke’s POV

I wonder why Claire hasn’t texted me yet, nor updated me. I just arrived in Singapore and my father’s staff picked me up at the airport. I went inside the car, and asked the driver to drive me to Dad wherever he was.

The driver nodded at me, and started driving. Where the hell was Dad? We’ve been driving for almost 45 minutes without any traffic. “Why is he so far away from the company?” I asked the driver.

“Sir, your dad has a meeting with some investors outside the city,” The driver politely said and I just nodded.

When I arrived at a private resort outside the city, my parents eventually greeted me with a hug.

“How are you my son?” Dad happily patted my back, and Mom kissed me on the cheek.

“Mom, there’s a lot of people. Why would you do that?” I said, but Mom just laughed.

“Come here, I’m going to introduce you to my business friends,” Dad said excitedly.
