Kieran’s POV

“So what do we do?” Harper asks. There was silence for a little while. I took a quick glance at Sienna who was still on her feets, refusing to even take a seat. I could see how scared she was, her bright hazel eyes were now dull and she looked like she might pass out soon. I hate this situation that she is in. I can't help but blame myself for everything she is going through, I am a mate for goodness sake, what kind of an alpha won't be able to protect his woman let alone his own people?

The last thing I ever want is my woman going through any form of hardship again. Honestly, Sienna has gone through a lot in this pack all because of me, she was hated, betrayed, lied against and almost got killed. I will never let any harm befall her again as long as I am still breathing.

I stood up and faced her making sure she didn't break eye contact, my heart pounding like it wanted out of my chest.
