What’s going on in his mind? I would have given anything to know what was on his mind.
Joseph turned again, looking back at me. He sizzled and continued walking. He was so alluring that I couldn’t just stop looking at him. Joseph was a big man, his body solid muscle, his shoulders were wide, his chest was broad, and the dim light touched his dark hair. His face was as hard as his body.
As I was still taking in his elements, he stopped and entered a room. Confused, I followed him. As I entered the room, it was so dark I couldn’t see a thing. The door closed, and he held my shoulders firmly from behind and slowly turned me around.
I was lost in his gaze. Then he whispered in my ear, “Don’t you ever pull that stunt again. You low-life creature.” He stared at me, hissed, released me, and strode out of the room.
