The girls applied the oils and ointments to my hair until it became relatively softer. I couldn’t believe they had managed to untangle it all. They did a beautiful and delicate hairstyle for me.

The silence was absolute, none of them spoke to me for fear. I was the plague in the castle, even though now I was clean and fresh. My bones relaxed from not being in precarious conditions anymore. My head stopped hurting.

“Dinner will be served in a few minutes.” was the last thing I heard, when I woke up after long hours of sleep, in that bed that seemed the most comfortable in the world.

Waking up was hard work, my body was so relaxed that I could barely open my eyes at first. When I washed my face, I realized the importance of that dinner. If it was in the castle, I should be with Regle and his uncles. That would not be pleasant for me at all and I regretted having to attend.
