The feeling of lightheartedness and conformity subsided as the hours passed. The fact that I didn’t find anything out of the ordinary left me quite calm. Something was missing. I guess part of me wanted a problem to prove that I was capable of solving it.

“What if I take a closer look at the flowers?” I thought to myself.

I smiled. My eyes widened with curiosity, and as I walked down the path, I kept bending down to search for a particular scent that I longed to discover.

I bent down again and again as I walked. There was no fragrance, I could not recognize any particular distinct fragrance.

The image of each flower was exactly the same as all the others. Even if there was a difference, I was looking for it without realizing it. I wanted an exception.

It was not an exception or an oddity that I found. It was more sameness of form and life. I found myself more and more immersed in contemplation.

I observed more and more closely.
