“It’s a world full of probabilities. A success, no matter how small, is a waterfall,” I said, drinking from my cup quickly to quench my thirst.
Fayz was still kneeling on the ground. The insolent one didn’t even want to complain no matter how much pain he was feeling. Because he was proud, he wasn’t begging for me to undo his curse. I would make him beg. Everyone broke down in the end.
“A waterfall. That’s not an appropriate word,” Fayz’s gaze turned defiant.
I raised my eyebrows, with a mocking smile.
“A waterfall is the most appropriate word. It’s something that is constant and overwhelming. A success for others is a drop that fills a cup, for me, it’s a waterfall.”
He didn’t look at me, but instead had his eyes fixed on the ground. I put a hand on his shoulder.
This time, he did look up at me. He couldn’t ignore me forever, I knew him well.
