Chapter 467. Dispute

I didn’t want to stop to rest for even a minute.
“We’re not stopping,” I said, raising my voice so that weakling Fayz could hear.
He had expressed his desire to stop and rest and eat something other than hard bread three times. He didn’t seem to have any survival instincts at all. I wasn’t going to ruin the whole mission. I thought it was completely idiotic to bring him along. The only thing that kept me from slitting his throat was that he might be useful in the fight against Zack. And he also seemed to be smart. But he had no other virtues.
“It’s time to stop,” Fayz declared from the cage, when the horses stopped for a few minutes to drink water.
“We’re stopping,” I said, defiantly and with an authoritative tone.
“No, this isn’t stopping.” Fayz started to climb down from the cage.
