The deadline was about to expire. Almost three hours had passed.
“Do you think she managed to find anything? Tell me again about that place.” I insisted, looking at Ian with pleading eyes.
He rolled his eyes. It was already the third time I had to listen to him describe the field of flowers. From what he said, there was nothing very clear to be afraid of. She would be safe. But the information he had to extract from there was not very specific.
“I don’t know. Damn it, this is the underworld. I guess Tachje forgot to give us an instruction manual.” Ian was also losing his patience as the time to go get her approached.
He pulled a crumpled parchment from his pocket. Like when you crumple a piece of paper in anger and stuff it in your pocket.
