Chapter 73. A Visit from Zuka
[Mystic cave]
Lucas made a rough landing next to his mother’s statue. He pulled himself back up to his feet like an enraged lion looking for a fight. When he looked around, he saw her mother and the rest of the witches staring at him with a surprised gazes.
“Send me back!” Lucas yelled. This must be his mother’s doing. He glanced around with rage in his eyes. “I said, send me back!” he roared in his might. His eyes glowed blue. His fingers grew into claws as his fangs popped out.
The witches drew back except for Lucas’ mother. They’re not ready to put up a fight with a wolf about to enter into a wolf rage.
“Son, you need to calm down,” Susan whispered.
Lucas flicked around casting his eyes on his mother. “Don’t tell me to calm down,” he gnawed. “She needs me and you just pulled me out leaving her there to die!”
