Chapter 44

From the apartment to the Coliseum, Damian remained silent. After all, Ella caught him lying about being sick just to have a valid reason to stay longer in her apartment.

“Aren’t you too old to play a trick, Damian?” she inquired because he was old enough to cause some trouble.

“Have mercy on me, Ella. I only had congee so I don’t have enough strength to argue with you,” Damian replied but she just rolled her eyes and focused her gaze back on the road.

When they arrived at the Coliseum, it was crowded, and they had a hard time finding a parking space.

"If you hadn't taken so long, we wouldn't have ended up parking so far from the Coliseum," Ella blamed her companion, but he just shrugged it off.

They walked side by side along the street towards the Coliseum. "Aren't you jealous of them?" Damian asked Ella, pointing his nose at another couple walking ahead of them.

"Jealous of whom?" Ella asked.

"Of them," Damian replied, pointing at the couple hold
