Gabriel’s POV
After Minnie left, I freshened up. My meal was brought to me and I savoured it. Them I sat on my damn seat and just stared at blank air.
These days, it felt like there was nothing to do. With Cassandra gone, one of the white brothers severely ill because of the injury he sustained during the massacre and another of the white brothers on a journey with Cassandra. Then there was Daniel who seemed to always want to take my position, always questioning my authority and decisions. I just hoped he wasn’t planning another coup because that will even be more disastrous than the last one.
