Daniel’s POV
The silence in this place was deafening. If only it was just deafening, it would have been better, but it was pregnant with promised threats inciting murderous intent in our minds…well, my mind. I have no idea about the mind of the other idiots.
Slowly, my eyes adjusted to the stark darkness and glanced over at the cell I think they’ll be.
“It was their fault,” was what I ached to admit to myself, but it wasn’t their fault.
It was mine, not solely though, If that fucker, Liam, hadn’t interfered I doubt we’ll be here. And most importantly, if I hadn’t let my anger get the best of me, there wouldn’t have been any issue for Liam to interfere in. Then the fucking Alpha that I can’t believe I was once best friends with wouldn’t have mercilessly thrown me here. Again.
I sighed. The still air in here chokes one with malicious intents and one could have no control over it. Well, that was the first time I was here, now, I had a subtle reign
