Chapter 47
Travor's injury was properly cared for by the medical team he had in the barracks of the criminal organization, and Debby felt distressed all the time because of the growing fear that people would realize that he had only been shot because of her. The days went by in a very nebulous way. Wendy met at home more often, but she and Debby didn't talk to each other long enough.
The point is that Debby came home after the robbery with a terrible intuition of abandonment and uselessness. She couldn't feel better without her medicines, and she didn't understand how she would tell Wendy what she needed without having to feel sick again that she would never be able to enjoy in a world full of ordinary people.
In this way, Debby spent at least a week locked in her room, just going out to eat. Her meals consisted of being lonely and all times closely accompanied by the thirst cooks, so she only ate in silence as she listened to all of them talking excitedly.
