"I'm serious, man!" Pedro laughed, laying back on the soft grass. "Katrina's home is in New Zealand, this little surf town called Raglan. We've been talking about buying a little place right on the beach, opening a dive shop or something..."

He let out a contented sigh. "After half a decade of constant movement, rootlessness...I'm starting to crave something more, you know? A chance to finally put down roots, start building a life with her."
