Chapter 25. A Promise to Stay Away
“No please, ask for anything else. Ask for my life instead but not that,” begged Weston. Hudson had never seen his twin beg like this in the last eighteen years that they had spent together but he was adamant. Isabella was too young to handle the storm that was brewing inside Weston. He would crush her with the intensity of his feelings for her. She needed to grow like a normal teenager and mature first. For that, Weston had to stay away. There was no other way.
“Wes, try to understand. She’s too immature to deal with your feelings right now. Let her grow up first. There’s no other way,” he insisted.
“I can’t break ties with her, bro,” he cried out.
“You have to,” said Hudson. “Else I have to inform mom and dad. Maybe they’ll send her away to some boarding school somewhere,” said Hudson. Weston’s shoulders drooped as all the fight left his body.
“No, don’t do that. I’ll stay away from her,” he promised.
