Chapter 39. Meeting Each Other Again
“Okay boys, you win, but I’m dirty from all that surfing, so if Violet shouts, you’re responsible,” Alexander said, as he strode inside the house with the twins following him. He saw Colton with his uncle Eric just opposite the main door. “Uncle Eric, how are you?” He strode towards him and they hugged each other.
“I’m fine, my boy. Look at you. You’re all tanned and looking quite handsome, so surfing is suiting you, eh?” Her dad smacked Alexander’s arm lightly, making him colour a little.
“Yes, I love it, actually. So, where’s aunt Eugene and Liam? Didn’t they come?” Alexander knew Lucas’s parents were here for Violet’s delivery, but he was too busy at the surfing school to drop in earlier. He waited for uncle Eric’s reply with his breath stuck in his throat. He hadn’t asked about Serenity, knowing that she wasn’t his anymore, but his heart wanted to know only about her.
