I'm not surprised when I wake up to an empty bed for a very different reason than the past few days. I'm happy Xander isn't here because it means he has gone out to help in finding Daciana. I'm still hoping she only went out. All of that aside, I feel great. For some weird reason, I also feel different. I narrow that down to the man whose scent is still in every corner of the room. He might not have left long ago.

"Hi, you're awake." Candace comments as she walks in, carrying a tray in one hand and a black bag in the order. I nod at her and stifle a yawn as she keeps everything that she came in with. She stands back and stretches her back muscles. "Holy, I'm not as young as I used to be." her comment makes me chuckle and she shoots me a glare when she hears.

"I bet I can still kick your ass, want to try?" she growls playfully. I raise both my hands up in surrender, letting her know I mean no harm.
