Chapter 55

We arrive at the café and Adrian opens the door for me then leads me to a table. He is such a gentleman. I look around and notice that the place is elegant and serene. Beautiful.

"They serve excellent coffee and tasty snacks, you'll want to come back for more," he tells me before a waiter arrives at our table with his tiny notepad and extra long pen, ready to take down our orders.

"Good day, Miss, welcome back Adrian. What would you like to order today? We have a wide variety of coffee and pastries and I can assure you that you would come back for more, just like Adrian does," the waiter says and I don't feel the need to look through the menu to make my order, I already have it in mind.

"Café au lait and finger buns," I say and the waiter turns to Adrian.

"An espresso and a muffin, with raisins, please," Adrian says.

"Stright-to-the-point orders, I like that. I'll be back with your orders in a few," the waiter says and beams at us before leaving our tab
