Chapter 32. Let’s Meet, Edward

“Good afternoon Director Carlson,” Cindy greeted with a shaky voice.

“Yeah, good afternoon Cindy. Are you alright?”

“Rose just got into an accident. I’m at the hospital right now so I will send the address to you after the call.”

When Carlson heard the news from the other end was stunned.

‘Rose had an accident?’

“How? What happened? We still spoke about Daisy this morning and she even got into a fight with me. How is that?” Carlson was so shocked and bewildered that he asked so many questions at the same time.

“I don’t know,” Cindy sniffed and Carlson heard her do that.

Her voice was so low and aggrieved as she continued saying, “She was run into by a motorcycle and they were both brought to this hospital. I mean Rose and the cyclist. If not, I would haunt him down and have him pay for what he did to Rose.”

“Even still, I’ll still make sure he pays,” she added through gritted teeth.
