Amelia’s POV

My brother was already seated in the living room by the time I made my way back inside. He looked really angry and didn’t say a word to me until I handed over a drink to him.

“He shouldn’t be coming over here anytime he wishes Amelia, we should file a restraining order against him.” Richard suggested and I shook my head with a thin smile on my face.

“Marcus might go overboard at times but he would never hurt me. I am certain of that.”

“Father won’t like this.” He added.

“Then don’t tell him.”

“It’s not that simple Amelia. Father and I looked into some things from the past and found some disturbing details about Marcus and his family.”

“What details?” I inquired, looking up sharply at him.

“It is well known that the Wrights only have one male heir but father found another son, we are not quite sure yet but we hope to get to the bottom of it soon. And something tells me, he was the one behind your kidnap.”
