Chapter 35. Richard Is Missing

Amelia’s POV

“It was a pleasure meeting all of you today,” she said, stepping back from Nolan and snatching her hand away from his, “but I am afraid I would have to leave soon. I just needed to keep you here a bit longer so I can get what I want.”

“And now that I have, till we meet again Knights and Nolan Hayes.” She added with a mischievous smile before she turned around and walked out.

Minutes after she was gone, everyone remained silent and just when mother managed to snap out of it, Nolan’s phone began to ring and he excused himself to take it.

“Let’s all head to the hospital. I need to see him.” Mother said and we all agreed.

“And what do we do about her?” Father asked with a heavy frown, “am I the only one that feels she is going to show up soon enough and cause trouble for us?”
