Chapter 30. Where’s He?
Amelia’s POV
It wasn’t a big deal if he drove or someone else did, but for some reason, I was moved by it and I was happy to know that he had thought things through, that he wanted to impress me.
The whole thing made me realize just how much I had missed out on what a real relationship was. I was so focused on satisfying Marcus that I didn’t realize just how much of myself I had let go of and the things I deserved. With Marcus, it was always about him but with Nolan, he made almost everything about me and that was a big deal for me because the only man I was ever with never did anything like that for me.
He did it for other women instead but never for me.
Nolan pulled open the door for me and stood at the side while I got into the car, it wasn’t exactly a big deal but it felt like such a big deal to me, so big that it made me so emotional that a tear slid down my cheek but before he could turn around and get into the car, I wiped it off.
