Chapter 74. Drop the Gun

Nolan’s POV

“Drop the gun boy.” Mr. Croft demanded as he turned around and returned to his seat like nothing happened. Everyone around him was practically going berserk given the fact that I had a gun pointed to his beloved daughter, even his guest had managed to crawl behind a chair to hide for his own safety, but Mr. Croft remained unbothered and calm.

“I told you she has made you weak because the man I know won’t do something this stupid. Nolan, you’re wounded and you can’t possibly fight everyone here. You can pull that trigger and kill me babe but you can’t walk out of this alive so just drop the gun.” Sophie advised but I ignored her.

The blood from my wound had now visibly stained my shirt, I was gasping for air and I could feel the strength seep right out of me but I refused to back down. The pain was excruciating, I was gritting my teeth so hard to keep myself from crumbling to the ground.
