Corvin remained deep within his dreamscape as Robert approached him, yet inside his mind the flow of time felt dizzyingly accelerated compared to the outside world. What seemed like mere minutes to anyone standing by played out as years’ worth of memories, hopes, regrets, and realizations cascading through his consciousness.
