Apex was the name given to the highest point a human could ever reach. When someone ascended to this level, their hair instantly turned pure white and their irises burned a vivid red. At the same time, the symbol of the sun appeared somewhere on their body—sometimes carved into a forearm, other times etched behind an ear or across a shoulder blade. This transformation was said to mirror the Sun goddess herself, for she too was depicted with snow-white hair, ruby eyes, and that same luminous solar emblem.
Achieving the Apex state was nearly impossible. Throughout history, only a handful of mortals had ever unlocked it. Those rare individuals succeeded by fully accepting their flaws and, more importantly, by staying absolutely true to themselves, no matter the cost. In that way, the process resembled the legend of werewolves attaining their true Lycan form—a transformation driven by inner acceptance rather than brute force.
