Chapter 32. Questionable Attack
Clover felt culpable for telling her best friends that she had run away from the hotel while she left them there, conceivably facing the vampires’ attacks. At first, she didn’t know where her feet would bring her. Nonetheless, she reached her parents’ grave since she had nowhere to go. She squatted on the ground, looking at the sky, then on the ground, they buried and exhaled.
“Mom, it was too hard,” said Clover, and she tried to tell her mother what she had experienced. “It was hard to be alone simultaneously, the Chosen One. Also, mother Lupe died from the war that transpired lately.”
