Chapter 49. Failed Endeavor

At Castleworth, Adam Matthews stood in front of all the refugees as he gathered them all and began his outreach program to the affected families. In that case, everyone, including the media, focused on his goodness. His name would start to be known as pro-poor, and he willingly helped them all, just like Senator Robbins did. However, Mr. Matthews did it so uniquely that no one would dare to compare them.

“As I visited Castleworth, I saw poor young people, and that’s what I want to change. Instead of carrying trash in their hands, they will be carrying books for their education. And instead of just hand-to-mouth existence, I want you to have a better future!” said Mr. Matthews as he held the microphone, staring at all the refugees who created a crowd he had already expected. “One of you might say I did this for publicity, but it wasn’t. I did not invite the media here because my intention was for the good of everyone.”
