My rumbling growl deepened as she got closer to the house and Jesse placed his hand on my shoulder, urging me to calm down. It was pointless, I was beyond furious. After I’d managed to prevent my panic attack earlier, I made Jesse mindlink the pack, letting them know that the pack house was off limits until further notice. Under no circumstances was anyone to approach the house. Therefore, she shouldn't have had any reason to be confidently sauntering towards me. But it was typical of Blair. She thought the rules didn’t apply to her because she was the Alpha's ex-girlfriend. Admittedly Jesse had allowed her to get away with more than I’d liked, but I was sure he was only doing it to make me jealous. It worked too. The woman completely grinded my gears.

“Calm down, Darlin'. She’s not worth it.” Jesse mink linked me, trying his best to seem concerned, but he forgot that I could feel what he was feeling and I knew he was enjoying my anger way more than he should have been. I could fee
