“Uncle Eva!” 

The little girl’s scream behind me made me turn around spontaneously. Soraya ran towards me while waving something in her hand. 

I caught her little body and carried her easily. She was so small and light. 

“Hi, what’s that in your hand?” I asked while poking the tip of her sharp nose. 

“It’s a potato,” Soraya said while opening her fist. “Look. Uncle Lindon said that this potato was scattered from its mother. It was impatient and climbed up, so in the end it couldn’t grow properly.” 

“Oh, poor thing. It must be because she was naughty, that’s why she became like this, right?” I said pretending to be sad. 

“Yes. But, I’m not naughty. I obey everything my mother says, so I can stay healthy and grow big,” Soraya said seriously.
