“No wonder you are so easy to throw away millions of money, it turns out you are the famous Mr. Evran Jeremiah,” said Harold.

I actually felt uncomfortable with the compliments he threw, but forced a smile for the sake of achieving my goal.

I added more wine to his glass. He turned out to be a low-tolerance drinker, but he was high on style. Only three glasses in and he was already looking like a wreck.

I stared at my favorite bottle of wine with satisfaction. It had been worth the long wait to open it.

“It’s nothing,” I said. “You will marry Emily?” I asked while pointing at Emily with my chin. “A very good choice. She is very beautiful and charming.”

Harold looked at Emily who was talking to another woman not far from our table. He is chuckled.
