Jayden and Uncle Hemsworth’s words made my chest tight because of the almost uncontrollable emotional turmoil. 

I never knew that the discussion about Leora’s childhood matchmaking with Alvons, Uncle Hemsworth’s son, was still on the agenda of my adoptive father who was now lying on the bed. 

And what annoyed me was that Jayden supported the idea, as if it was the best option for Leora. Was he from the middle ages? Why was his thinking so old-fashioned? Matchmaking in this day and age? Tsk!
