Chapter 58. Disaster

Peter POV

My mother has been grumpy lately. She is exhausted from taking care of Eva after her surgery. 

Currently, Eva’s condition is a bit concerning. The surgery was successful and the fetus was successfully aborted, but it seems like Eva is depressed. 

After returning home, she often can’t sleep and when she can sleep, she often wakes up suddenly and cries because of nightmares. 

I think she feels guilty after the abortion. That feeling haunts her and makes her feel restless, so her physical condition also becomes weak. 

“Mom, you have to be patient. Eva’s condition is weak and she needs you to be close to her, to comfort her,” I said trying to calm my mother down. “You are her mother and she needs you the most.”
