Chapter 36. Violent Revenge

Giovanna heard Freya's laughter and Luc's debauched voice as they passed her room. She also heard Freya's screams when she realized that her clothes were no longer in the closet. The door to her room opened violently, and Freya entered like a hurricane, her eyes full of anger, with Luc behind her with an amused smile, his hands in his trouser pockets and leaning against the doorframe, as if waiting to see a show. Giovanna sat quietly on the bed and stared at Freya with a cold gaze.

"What have you done with my clothes, you jealous girl?! I told you to stay away from them!"

"Your clothes? I think they fell off in the garden..." Giovanna said coldly, but with a hint of irony in her voice.

Luc started laughing and Freya glared at her with hatred.

"You threw my clothes out of the window? In this rain! They must be all wet!"
