Chapter 39. Wanted
Giovanna went straight to Round Top, where she had talked about her job as a cleaner in a small, remote guesthouse. There was no television and the cell phones had no signal. It was more a place for furtive love encounters. She was welcomed and as soon as she arrived, she changed and began the heavy cleaning. It seemed like years since the hostel had been cleaned, and she worked hard. It took about three full days, but she was able to see the results of her efforts. The hostel was clean and even smelled good. It made the atmosphere more pleasant.
