Chapter 42. Trapped

Luc stood up and Theo imitated him.

"You're leaving with us, Giovanna." Luc said menacingly.

"Stay with Freya, Luc. You're both the same. She'll serve you better..." Giovanna said and turned to Theo. "You can share her. It wouldn't be the first time, would it? I know from her character that she'll accept it... What's more, she'll even like it."

Luc and Theo looked at each other in amusement for a quick second.

"Your aphasia is gone, Giovanna. That's a good sign." Luc said and was already leaving when Giovanna spoke to them.

"You should try the Stifado. It's really divine!" Giovanna said and watched them leave the restaurant.

She got up and left by the back door, where there were some stairs leading up to the inn where she was staying. But she would return there to find out more about her probable aunt, who was vacationing there, when she was sure those men had given up.
