Chapter 68. I Beg
Giovanna looked around. Could there be wild animals out there? No! Theo wouldn't leave her alone if there were. She started walking in search of a way out of the place. She followed the river and found the hut Theo had mentioned. It wasn't what she wanted, but she was too tired to continue and decided that she would rest there for the night, and the next day, she would look for a way home again.
Giovanna entered the hut and contrary to what she thought, that Theo would have prepared the hut with the minimum of comfort to be inhabited, it was empty. There wasn't even a piece of paper, so she wouldn't have to lie down in the dust. She left the hut and followed the sound of the river, deciding that it would be more comfortable to sleep there, as there was grass to support her body. She fell asleep as soon as she lay down.
