Chapter 159. Between Father and Son
Caio saw the tall man with the modern haircut, wearing an expensive suit enter the restaurant and walk towards him. He was exactly as he remembered from another life, although he had molded himself to the new world in which they now lived. The elegant man stopped in front of him.
“Can I sit here?” he asked seriously.
Caio left his empty wine glass on the table.
“There's a password.” Caio said gravely.
Luc looked at the electronic menu and pressed a command. Soon, a waiter brought a bottle of werewolf wine with two glasses and left them alone.
Caio smiled.
“How long has it been since we last saw each other? I thought you'd forgotten.”
Luc smiled, returning Caio's almost identical smile, and sat down.
“I was only gone for six months. Don't be dramatic.”
