Chapter 64. Incomparable

Giovanna stood up and Yuki had approached her and was looking at her worriedly.

"Are you all right?"

"I... I don't know." Giovanna answered and looked at the sorceress and Hovar. She looked at her as if she feared an explosion and at Hovar with amazement. "Who are you?" she asked the sorceress, knowing that only she would understand the depth of that question, and she was right.

The sorceress smiled slightly.

"I am the thing hidden in the darkness of your loneliness."

Giovanna's eyes clouded over with tears. Hecate was the person who knew her best in the world. That was why she felt an inexplicable emptiness. Because she no longer existed inside her. She had taken shape.

"What does that mean?" Hovar asked impatiently.

They both turned to him.

"It's not something you can understand, because it's the one thing that can never, ever be taken away from Giovanna. She
