He turned towards the fire and saw the silver-colored wings hiding behind a tall, handsome man. Very handsome. With eyes as silver as his wings, dressed in clothes so white they seemed to glow, with hair so black and straight it looked like silk. She felt Selene squeeze her arm in fear behind her.

The man wasn't human. Phenex would know if he was.

"Who are you and what do you want here?" Phenex asked arrogantly. She watched mesmerized as he smiled with his perfect lips.

"Perhaps another time, Phenex... You're not the first to want me. Today I've come for my Selene."

"Don't be presumptuous! I don't want you and Selene is already promised."

"Do you think I'd come here if I wasn't supposed to be here?" he said and turned to the tribe. "You can get up and get out of here."

They immediately obeyed and left without looking back.

The creature waited until they were
