"Are you always so inconvenient? Didn't your mother teach you that listening in on other people's conversations is rude?" Giovanna asked, annoyed that he had interrupted her conversation with Freya.

Luc looked away, ignoring her, and stared at Freya, who was watching everything with an amused smile.

"Has she chosen her room yet?"

"She's here and she can speak for herself and I'm telling you, I'm not staying in a room that belongs to you again! I'd rather sleep in the dog house!" Giovanna said triumphantly, but her insulting words didn't have the desired effect. Luc raised his eyebrows and Freya clapped her hands and laughed.

Giovanna turned inquiringly to Freya.

"What happened?"

She smiled. She looked happy.

"You only had to step foot in here for your memory to come back to life. Typical."
