I was moved to a wooden chair, the chains cutting into my wounds as they tied me into it. I could feel my body trembling, as my wolf stirred inside, sensing the palpable dark magic, even after the dark witch, Nyra, and my mother had already left. For a few minutes I sat there, debating on whether to use my magic, get my father and escape the wretched place. But if I did so, they would still come after me and the people I loved, so I decided to hold on and think of a way to end it once and for all.
The heavy iron door hinges sounded, with my mother stepping back inside gracefully. I didn't want her close to me, because the last thing I wanted was for her to discover her spell had been long broken according to the prophecy.
