The air in the kingdom felt charged, like the aftersparks of the spell were still floating through. My skin tingled gently, my wolf playing around inside. Despite the heaviness of the vision I had seen, I had not told anyone, not even Maribel and Elias. I didn't know how to say that I saw six bodies circled in flames. I had crashed in Nyra's bedroom after the spell, and by the time I woke up, she had already left. I mean, I had slept until midday.
