Elias drove us in one of the alpha kings SUVs with Nyra sitting in the passenger seat, while I sat in the backseat with Carter quietly. I didn't know the right words to say to him to console him and give him some peace of mind. So I just held his hand, occasionally giving it a gentle squeeze.
