"Where the hell is she?" I thundered, storming through the mansion like a rabid beast. We had searched for Delaney in every damn room. She wasn't anywhere to be seen, nor was her scent, except in her room.

Ronan held Elias by the colar of his shirt, pulling him closer, his face contorted. "You were supposed to keep her safe!" He roared, his voice echoing in the compound, making birds fly away.
