Gadreel's POV

“You have such a thick face! What have you been up to? When did you start fooling me!?” What is the matter with this woman? Did she think I was her boyfriend? Nothing in the conversation suggests she will say yes, because I did not flirt with her or court her, and I have no intention of doing so.

“Who is the woman you’re with? If you don’t answer me, we’d better break up!” When she looked at me, I noticed tears welling up in her eyes.

I smiled because this is exactly what I look for in a woman like her.

“That’s fine with me; go on. I don’t mind,” I replied while turning away from her. I checked my watch and realized it was still early before my next class began.

“Gadreel! Are we really going to end this way? Will you at least explain something to me?” I simply shook my head when I looked at her again.
