Katelyn's POV

“Kate, I’m afraid I will be late; aren’t you with Gadreel? Get there first, and don’t get separated from Gadreel, okay?” Aime warned me while we were on a video call.

My phone was propped up on a stand facing me. I was getting ready in front of the vanity mirror, excited to wear the matching outfit that Gadreel and I had discussed the night before.

“Why are you running late? Where are you going?” While the blow dryer was drying my hair, I asked her.

“My mom told me to get her medicine, but there isn’t one near us, so I’m still looking,” she explained, which was true because she was clearly confused while driving.

“Okay, focus on driving first, and we’ll just get there first,” I replied, and she winked and gave me a flying kiss.
