Chapter 208. Weird
Denny walked to sit beside Trisha, but Chloe asked her son to sit on the spot between his mom and dad while Trisha was alone on the other side.
“I will take the seat right across from yours, Mom,” Denny politely declined.
Chloe laughed when he heard her son’s response to her requests.
Trisha could not make any comment. She did not know what to say, either. She bit her cheeks discreetly. The meal went harmonious. The family would speak of business Trisha was not familiar with, so she meekly sat along with the Vero family at the table, clueless about what to do.
She realized the truth about French people having meals with more or less than two hours at the table. They chat and eat. She only heard about it being a way of socialization. They leisurely take time to ask and discuss this and that. But the whole conversation did not mention anything about asking what relationships Trisha and Denny had.
